What is Hedef Kelime?

Hedef Kelime is a Turkish daily word game made by the Revoba studio. It is free to play in the browser, with no download or sign-up. Languages: Turkish, English. It is currently an early build.

Hedef Kelime is a Turkish daily word game that gives everyone the same puzzle each day. The words are Turkish; the interface is in English. Three modes live together. In Daily 5 Letters you find the hidden word in six tries: green tiles mark the right spot, yellow the wrong spot, grey a letter that is not in the word. Daily Word brings the word round of the Turkish TV show 'Bir Kelime Bir İşlem' to the browser: eight letters, one wildcard, sixty seconds, and a race to build the longest word. Letter Trail is a 300-level word-building campaign where you make a target number of words from a handful of letters, with bonus words and stars. Answers are chosen from common, everyday Turkish words; no slang, insults or proper names. Turkish letters sit where they belong on the keyboard and casing follows Turkish rules. Daily puzzles are ad-free and need no account or connection. The sibling of Hedef Sayı, the game plays the same way on phone, tablet and desktop, and your result shares as an emoji grid with one tap. A clean, fast option for anyone who wants a Wordle-style Turkish word puzzle.

Turkish daily word game: guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries, build the longest word from 8 letters, play 300 Letter Trail levels. Ad-free daily puzzles.

How to play Hedef Kelime

In Daily 5 Letters type a 5-letter Turkish word and press ENTER; the tiles flip, green means right spot, yellow wrong spot, grey not in the word, and you have 6 tries. Hard mode forces you to reuse the hints you have found. In Daily Word press Start; you get 8 letters and 1 wildcard, then tap letters or type to build the longest valid word within 60 seconds and press ENTER. One point per letter; a 9-letter word doubles and a word without the wildcard earns +2. In Letter Trail tap letters to build a word and press ENTER; find the target number of words before time runs out, other dictionary words count as bonus, and the hint button reveals a letter of a missing word. Free play gives unlimited 5-letter and longest-word rounds.

Hedef Kelime controls

Build words by tapping or clicking the letters; an on-screen Turkish Q keyboard is included. On a physical keyboard Enter submits, Backspace deletes and Space shuffles the letters. The Android back button opens the pause menu.

Tips for Hedef Kelime

  1. Open the 5-letter puzzle with a vowel-rich word such as KALEM, SABAH or ÖRDEK, and move yellow letters to new positions in your second guess.
  2. In the longest-word round think in suffixes: -LAR, -LIK, -CI and -MAK turn a 5-letter root into 7 or 8 letters; keep the wildcard for the last letter.
  3. In Letter Trail start with 3-letter roots, then try their plurals; bonus words do not save time but trigger hidden celebrations.

A daily word game for Turkish Wordle fans

The daily word-game habit rests on a simple idea: everyone solves the same puzzle on the same day and compares emoji grids. Players looking for a Turkish Wordle often hit two problems: 'silly' words showing up as answers, and Turkish letters sitting in the wrong place on the keyboard. Hedef Kelime puts both first. The answer list is narrow, so only common roots above a frequency threshold can be the answer. The guess list is wide, so a valid Turkish word is never rejected as 'not in the list'.

The keyboard uses the Turkish Q layout; I and İ, ı and i are separate keys, and uppercase and lowercase follow Turkish rules. With one 5-letter word puzzle a day, an optional hard mode, guess distribution and a day streak, the game builds a quiet, lasting habit. A broken streak carries no penalty; a new one starts the next day.

A word-building game in the 'Bir Kelime Bir İşlem' style

The word round of the classic Turkish TV show has thrilled viewers for decades: letters arrive one by one, the clock runs, and whoever builds the longest word wins. The Daily Word mode of Hedef Kelime brings that format to the browser. You get eight letters and a wildcard, and a sixty-second race to build words from letters begins. Score equals the number of letters; a nine-letter word doubles the points and a word built without the wildcard earns extra. When time is up, the longest possible word is revealed, so you learn a new word every day.

Letter Trail turns the same mechanic into a 300-level word-building campaign: it starts with four letters and grows to seven, and the number of target words rises from pack to pack. Extra dictionary words count as bonus and finishing within the time limit earns stars. Players who loved the number round in Hedef Sayı now have the word round in the same family.
